The Project

What is Abuse?

What Can I Do?

Every 37 seconds, a man is physically assaulted by an intimate partner, (Department of Justice, 2000).

THE PROBLEM:
Men are also victims of abuse at the hands of women, as much as 50% of the time, and no one is talking about it.  Men need acknowledgment and support to overcome the abuse they endure, but most are left to 'go it alone.'

THE MISSION:        Awareness -- Education -- Assistance

To increase community awareness about the abuse of men by women and work toward a balanced perspective on the problem of partner abuse;

To educate men who are victims and woman who abuse, assisting and encouraging them to build healthy relationships and strong families;

To advocate for abused men and provide resources to assist them.
